Still in April -- The Winery

This is the winery we went to It was way up on a hill.

Pamela and I had a glass of wine.

I would loved to have that purple T-shirt with the group therapy

wine glasses on it but I thought $42.00 was a little to much.

The tulips were outstanding and I really like the rocks that are covered

the red flora I don't know what it is but it was very pretty

 This old cannon was very cool.

I don't know what this is used for it looks like an old carriage house,

but I love the rock work.

And my sweet daughter is (King) Queen  of the hill

It was a great visit.

More April in Spokane/ May is comming

We went to Riverside Park where the worlds fair was

and we ran with the metal people

I helped a person in a wheelchair

We took this to say Hello to are neighbors to the north

Pamela and Steve scarfed down a Funnel cake with

strawberries and whipped cream

I was good I didn't have any.

That is all for today tomorrow I will take you to the winery.

About April l!!!!

 First there was Easter

 then on the 10th and 11th I went on a two day training cruse

Then Mom turned 92 on the 12th

On the 13th I took the train to Spokane and kissed a buffalo

with my daughter

and hugged a moose

and got new upper dentures I had my other ones for 30

years and they were worn down to nothing

Now I can smile and show teeth(LOL)

I was in Spokane for 5 days and had a very nice visit with

my daughter and Steve.

Getting ready to put the sails up we put the lines way up the masts.

We worked all day it was hard work and allot of fun.

The Zodiac is going down to dry dock to have her bottom sanded and painted

ans her Coast Guard inspection. Then she will be back in Bellingham and

WE WILL GO SAILING.

A Saturday of fun and work

I worked on the Zodiac Yesterday and when I had finished a job

I was doing I went to Richard to be assigned another. He ask me if I knew

what Baggywrinkles were. Do you know what they are? I could have said

"sure I have a few "but I didn't say that.(LOL)

The above are Baggywrinkles.

"Chafing gear on standing rigging to prevent sail wear. It looks like great wrappings

of wool from a distance,but is made from bits of rope"

I learned how to do this.

The tide was low so I could see the muscles and barnacles in the

pilings

There was allot of white painting being done yesterday

First it Had to be cleaned then sanded then cleaned again. You can see Richard

back there with the vacuum.

The white painting is complete and next Sat. the plastic winter wrap is

coming off and then the caterpillar will become----------------

last year it froze and didn't bloom at all

I  ran out of the house in my nightgown to get this picture

before it went away

Again I am sorry for not posting or commenting for a while.

It has been a strange week.

I broke my glasses,My mom fell off her bed she was not hurt,but

she could not get up. I just had a giggling fit when I wrote that.

( I've fallen and I can;t get up)

It was time for my blood test  and I don't know what else ,

but you know I love all of you and I will try to get caught up.
