Sunrise

This is what I saw when I looked out of my bedroom window

this morning

So I had to run outside in my nightgown to capture it.

It was 35 degrees but I think it was worth it.

The sun continued to rise and it was so pretty

It lasted quiet a while.

And slowley faded away.

More Fall Colors

 This is my special tree in front of my house it is a Japanese maple

and I brought it home from the Saturday market in the front seat

of my car. It has grown a bit since then

This is in front of one of my neighbors house

I really liked the color in these leaves

 I am a little behind in posting comments.I will try to catch up soon.

Autumn at Lake Padden

On the way home from my strength training class today I went

over to Lake Padden to see the fall colors.

It was pretty awesome so I thought I would share

It was foggy and misty but I liked it any way

Even the reeds in the water had lots of color

The water was clear and the reflections are great.

This little guy was just sitting and grooming while I

was there.

Driving Home

Charlie and I went to town and on the way home I shot

these pictures while he was driving down the road.

The rain didn't get all of the leaves there was still a lot of color.

I don't like all of the wires.

Rainbow

It rained and thundered  and there was a river running

in the street----and then a little sun peeked out. I said to

Charlie there has to be a rainbow.

There was and here it is.

It didn't last long but it was very pretty

Then it was gone.

My day in the Kitchen

I think I went a little crazy in the kitchen today.

These are my home made noodles drying

This is my bread rising

Then I baked it. It turned out great.

I made home made chicken soup with my home made noodles.

Then I ate it Yum Yum.

WWU and Mother

 I made this for my Mother she is in an assisted living home.

Sometimes she is upset because she thinks she is in jail.

So I try to make her very nice room more homey.  

I am going to print it then frame it so she can have it on her wall.

 She graduated in 1965 from WWU  when she was in her forties

and had three kids still at home.

She majored in math and taught for a while then went back to the

telephone co.She retired from there.

Up date on my sister

I talked to my sister last night she may get to go home

today or tomorrow. Her cancer has affected her liver.

  Something called Bilirubin that should be under 0.2 were 19

They have to drain the bile from her liver,but she said she is not as

yellow as she was and she feels better.

 She told me to tell all of you thank you for your prayers and good

thoughts she is sure they were a big part of her feeling better.

I thank you too.

A Delicious Surprise

A couple of weeks ago I received an E-Mail from someone named Blue.

I thought it might be a scam.but because I had read  the same thing happened to  http://chroniclesofacountrygirl.blogspot.com/ I thought I would send Blue my address and cross my fingers.

Well a couple of days ago I received a package from http://pomwonderful.com/

This is what was in it.

It is a new iced coffee drink.

 I though I would try a glass. I shared it with my hubby

and we both agreed it was delicious

There is a chocolate one too,but as I am allergic to chocolate
I choose for them not to send that on to me.

A Big Thank You

My sister is in the hospital having lots and lots of tests.

I am waiting for a phone call from her letting me know the results.

I told her about all of your thoughts and prayers she said to tell

all of you wonderful people thank you.

I thank you too. I know your prayers are helping her.

I will let you know how she is doing when I know.

My Sister Dorothy

This is my sister Dorothy right now she need lots and lots of good

thoughts and prayers.

She has had breast cancer for a few years and now it is effecting her

liver and pancreas.

Please send her Love and prayers.
