Dots sampler afghan

Today I will tell you about my friend Dot. I have known her since the 50's she is 80 and a very special person. She walks about three miles a day and she makes around 90 to100 simple quilts to give to charities she also makes knitted hats and mittens. In between all of that she makes afghans, pot holders.

Now I know what Aunt Dot looks like and can see all the quilts she makes for charity. I am amazed that there are so many for one year! She must sew up a storm. Tell Dot hi for me from Powell River. We haven't seen Bob yet this trip, but with all the cold weather we haven't been out much. We did see him heading up the lake one day in his boat up ahead of us. It's hard to miss, it is the largest work boat on the lake. Happy New Year! - Margy
