Thinking!

Awhile ago I was feeling,I don't know not quit right, maybe a little sorry for myself so I said to me this is not good. I decided to make a list of things that make me happy. I thought I would share it with you.

  1. A full tank of gas even if I don't have any where to go

  2. A walk in the woods

  3. Rain on a tin roof

  4. Children laughing

  5. Hugs from my kids

  6. Flowers

  7. A comfy blanket

  8. Sun shinning on the water

  9. The smell of homemade bread

  10. A good book

  11. Sailing on the Zodiac

I was only going to do 10 ,but I had to add the eleventh one.

After I wrote them I felt much better.

What a neat list, Betty. We ALL need to make lists like that on occasion when life gets us down. We all do have so much to be thankful for.

I think I'd put that sailing up to Number 1... ha

Have a great weekend.
Hugs,
Betsy

Aww... big hugs to you, Betty!! There are a lot of things on your list that also make me happy as well.
It's always a great idea to make a list when we are feeling blue... it really does perk us up, doesn't it!

Hugs♥

You always brighten my day with comments on my blog and I love getting together for coffee when I'm in town. Your list is a good idea for me as well. Even though I live is a wonderful place, sometimes I think life gets a bit complicate and overwhelming. In addition to my blog, I also keep a hand written journal. That helps me a lot too. - Margy

What an excellant idea Betty, and I can see why you would feel better after this! Any one of them would work...
I peel the squash, cut it up in 1" chunks, parboil for about 3 minutes, cool make sure it's dry and then into freezer bags. Tastes mighty good when there is a foot of snow on the ground and the temperature is 20ยบ below!
Have a great and safe holiday.
