Last post from the Zodiac

These are what slides up the mast to hold the sail
The sail and the things in the first picture when the sail is up

Interesting way to coil a line

One of the crew up the mast before we sailed

Beautiful old wood from 1924

More of the cabinets in the right hand corner you can
see glasses hanging from the ceiling

Beautiful!

We spend quite a bit of time in the San Juan Islands and Roche Harbor is a favorite. We don't have a sailboat but a Bayliner...and it's always fun to watch how graceful the sailboats can be. Happy siling.

I could NEVER get tired of seeing photos from the Zodiac... I was telling my hubby about it --since he loves 'tall ships'.... In fact, he posted his blog about one today...

Great pictures...

What a wonderfully fantastic series of posts! Sailing boats are so photogenic, and I love the way the rope was coiled. Your photos are perfect. It must have been such an incredible experience.

Neat shots of the outside and who would think it would be so glorious on the inside. I am with you--the wood is beautiful. MB

Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! There is another Betty that leaves comments and at first I thought it was her.

I used to live in the Fraser Valley .. just a hop skip and jump from Bellingham.

That sail boat ride looked deluxe! I'd love to go on that baby ... a week tour would be GREAT!
