A Happy Day

Yesterday was a great day I felt better then I have for a while. We went to the marina there is a place to walk around and see all of the boats and water and the sky was beautiful. We met a nice lady that had a rescured Greyhound named Sugar she lives on a boat and goes to Alaska every year. There are a couple of restaurants down there also and the Hotel Bellweather.

I wish I could figure out how to put the pictures in the order that I want them(LOL).

Sky Pictures

I took these on the way home from the flower shop yesterday. There was some blue sky and some coluds and it wasn't cold and the wind wasn't blowing.

I think Spring is almost here.

A LOT OF FLOWERS IN FAIRHAVEN

Today was a nice day. I went over to my favorite part of town and paid a visit to the little flower shop. It is so cool they have lots of plants and neat stuff for the garden.

The sun was out a little and it was not cold.

I feel much better today.

This blue stuff is really pretty They also have other colors,

I really like the things that are hanging on the fence.

Then there are the daffodils.

Wall Hanging

This is my favorite Wall Hanging. I am sitting here watching the rain coming down. My scanner isn't working it is to wet to take pictures.I guess I am a little down today.I am thinking of things to be thankful for.My husbands eyes are doing great.My sister is doing ok her blood work is good her nuropathy is the same ( not good).My son is happy he found his father. All of my other wonderful kids are doing well, and I love reading all of your blogs. I think we need some sunshine. I am not very good at putting what I am thinking down on paper. My 92 year old mother is doing great dancing on YouTube.

1- I am 71 years old
2- I have six children-7and 1/2 grand kids and a whole passel of greatgrandkids
3- I have type 2 diabetes
4- I have just lost 22lbs
5-I am very happy that my oldest soon found his father whom he had never met
6-I like to read books and blogs I also like to sew and cook.
7- I am a little bit lazy and I hate house work.
8- I will be glad when the weather is better so I can go walking.
9- I signed up for a senior strength class it is free at WWU. One of the questions was if you wanted to arrange your living room could you move your couch. I said yes,she said well when you get done with this class you will be able to throw it.

Watermelon Break

I lived in North Carolina for a little while a long time ago the baby in this picture is now 56 years old. The watermelon was fresh from the garden. We were working in the tobbaco fields picking and tieing it on sticks to put in the curing barn to dry.

I love this picture it is so old timey.
