Today I went to the down on the water front where the ferry leaves for Alaska every Friday I wish I was on it,but alas I was not . I was a nice day not to windy or cold .The San Juan cruise boat was there and a catamaran. The water was smooth and blue. It was a good day. I need to get out of the house more often.

I guess they cut the number of sailings which isn't good for our local economy. I would love to take a ferry up the inside passage and then over the the Queen Charlotte Islands. They have one that leaves from Port Hardy at the tip of Vancouver Island to Prince Rupert then another across to the Queen Charlottes. Have you ever read Charlotte's blog called Living on the Edge? She lives on the Queen Charlottes. http://caro-on-the-islands.blogspot.com/ - Margy
This certainly looks like a place I'd love to go. I love the water, and boats. Have a wonderful week-end Betty

Last September, I took a trip with a couple of sisters up to Prince Rupert where we rode the ferry over to the Queen Charlottes. A wonderful place to visit. Leaving there , we ferried back to Prince Rupert and then took the ferry from there to Port Hardy.I love being on large boats or I guess you should call them ships. If they are big enough to carry a boat on them, they are ships so I've been told.
Visit my blog tomorrow, there is an award there for you.
